Colorado Transplant! Boulder-Based Sajali Delong. An Aspen Neighbor!

I am honored and pleased to welcome Sajali Delong as our newest Featured Artist!

She shares her history better than I ever could!
Hey there, thanks for the welcome to OnAspen.com! I’m excited to share a bit about my journey with you. Originally from Germany, I found my way to Colorado and Boulder two years ago, and it’s been quite an experience! The community here is so open and spiritually curious—it’s been truly inspiring.

Last summer, I dove into the local art scene, attending countless shows and soaking in the creative energy all around me. But for me, art isn’t just something to look at—it’s a way of life. I’ve been painting mandalas and landscape with animals for years, ever since my days studying fine arts back in Nuremberg.

My art is my way of bringing a little piece of nature’s harmony into our hectic lives. My Mandalas are filled with elements and symbols inspired by the great outdoors, meant to soothe the mind and lift the spirit. And color? Oh, color is everything to me! Each hue is carefully chosen to evoke joy and connectedness, like a little slice of sunshine on canvas.

But my art isn’t just about what you see—it’s about how it makes you feel. There’s a deep connection between psychology, the mind and art, and I believe that looking at my paintings can bring a sense of peace and connectedness.

Speaking of mountains, one of my favorite spots in Boulder is the iconic Tea House. Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of the mountains, it’s a place of serenity and reflection—a perfect complement to my artistic journey.

So whether you’re looking for a moment of zen or just want to add a little color to your life, I invite you to explore my work here on AboutBoulder.com. You can also check out my website for more of my creations. I hope they bring you as much joy as they’ve brought me to create them.
